My name is Monica and I live in sunny Florida in the USA. My crafting passion is coloring with my Prismacolor colored pencils and so most of my projects have some pencil coloring on them. However I enjoy incorporating hand coloring with digital media and electronic machines. I have a Silhouette electronic die cutting machine and I love to use the Silhouette Software to design my cards, add the layers and cut various elements. This card is one of those that combines the traditional with the modern.

The stamp I used is Rose Blessings by Imagine That Digistamps. I created the background image by changing the color of the lineart image and placing them on the background. I printed one rose out separately after sizing it just a little bigger than the background roses. The single rose is colored with my pencils and then cut out with the Silhouette. I added the cardpanel to a dark purple cardbase and then adhered the single rose to the card and completed it with a sentiment that I die cut and covered in Wink of Stella.

RUOK

Today is the day to remember a few kind words, to look out for your friends in your social circle, look out for family, work mates anyone near by, no one should ever feel alone or left out, ask them RUOK? As person who who largely and publicly bullied and lost good friends because I was being bullied, I suffered a stroke that will effect me for the rest of my life from the impact and stress that came with being bullied, even when I was in hospital sharing updates, bullies would second guess my condition and say "shouldn't you be on this tube and that tube," "I don't think she had a stroke" it goes on, "she told me that she is going to fully recover," oh one day I wish that would be the case, wishful thinking, but unfortunately my stroke is with me for the rest of my life.

Trolls bullies like to be experts of your life, they are not experts they are haters, damagers and not your friend, if they don't make you happy, go with your gut for the safety of your own health and get help.

Please remember these words anytime in your life RUOK? please share below and let me know, Today I am ok better than I was, and a lot happier, I still have my moments just never know what each day will bring. Stroke wise, and trying my best not to have another, the craft community sure has helped me, made me feel welcome, supported me, encouraged me, and I feel like I'm a part of a wonderful community, thank you.

Chalky leaf online workshop - Youtube

I am hosting an online workshop and creating a Kaszazz inspired card from start to finish, the video will be uploaded to youtube on the 4th September you'll be able to view it. I will be creating this gorgeous chalky leaf card for almost any occasion you wish. I'll be using many products from Kaszazz that I have, I don't have everything as I'm growing my Kaszazz stash which I love and adore.
